interior design
We will design for one room or multiple rooms. However, it is important to note that we are not full service at this time, meaning you will be responsible for purchasing everything based off our sourcing guides. We will provide sourcing for all selections including wall coverings, custom window treatments, accessories, etc. This is why working with us is more economical than working with full design firms, but it does place more responsibility on you to order items for your projects.

the journey
-
Dream it.
This first phase is about getting to know you, your lifestyle and your space. This is when your goals, ideas, inspiration and concepts are established with your designer.
First, we will send you a detailed survey to fill out to gather basic information and ensure we feel like we can be a good match for your project. Here is where you will also share your inspiration from a Pinterest or Houzz board and even magazine clippings.
It is important that we feel we can bring your vision to life while honoring our design aesthetic. We will also discuss your desired budget to ensure we can realistically deliver the results you are seeking.
-
Build it.
Should we make a great match, an in-person consultation at your home will take place to discuss your project(s) in more detail. During the sourcing phase, we encourage clients to expand their comfort zones! After all, the reason we are here is to show you some ideas you may not imagine on your own.
Following the in-person consultation, I will work to source the selections for your space. A follow up meeting or two may be needed for space planning, taking/verifying measurements, reviewing samples in your lighting, etc.
At the end of the sourcing phase, I will review mood boards and samples (where applicable) to ensure you are excited about the direction of the project. Then, a complete sourcing guide with links to purchase all items in the project will be provided.
You should also expect this phase to be where the majority of your design fees are spent. The design process is very front loaded – meaning most of the work (and money spent) is incurred in the beginning.
-
Grow it.
This is where the magic happens! The messy, dusty, sometimes frustrating magic that comes with most remodels and redesigns... but SO worth it in the long run!
You as the homeowner will be responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of construction, while I continue to periodically check-in on the project and help coordinate any further details during this time.
There are always unforeseeable challenges in construction. While we can never predict them all, we will work together as a team to overcome obstacles that arise throughout the remodel and design process.
